Hai An Green Shipping Lines Co., Ltd. Takes Delivery of Its First Container Vessel

Representatives of Hai An Green Shipping Lines Co., Ltd. and Transimex Corporation signed the vessel delivery and acceptance minutes.

This is the first vessel of Hai An Green Shipping Lines Co., Ltd., with principal particulars as follows: length overall 147 meters, breadth 25 meters, draft 8.9 meters, deadweight 15,204 MT, capacity of 1,060 TEU, and maximum speed of 18 knots. The vessel is classed by Vietnam Register (VR) and Lloyd’s Register (LR).

Representatives of both parties’ leadership took commemorative photos at the delivery ceremony of the vessel TRANSIMEX SUN.

With the addition of GREEN PARK, Hai An’s owned and operated fleet has increased to 19 vessels, with a total capacity of 30,300 TEU. Following delivery, the vessel will continue to be employed under a time charter to Hede Shipping (Hong Kong), operating on the China (Nansha) – Vietnam (Ho Chi Minh City) route.

Representatives from Hai An’s ship management departments boarded the vessel to carry out procedures for taking over the vessel’s management and operational control.

According to the plan, in April 2026, Hai An Green Shipping Lines Co., Ltd. is expected to take delivery of a second container vessel with a capacity of 2,800 TEU. In parallel, the Company is actively implementing its newbuilding program for two modern vessels of 7,100 TEU in China, aiming to develop a large-scale and environmentally friendly fleet.

Following the successful delivery, the vessel TRANSIMEX SUN was renamed GREEN PARK, becoming the 19th member of Hai An’s container fleet.
