Hai An Green Shipping Lines Successfully Takes Delivery of Container Vessel M/V GREEN TIME

At the same time, at SEFINE SHIPYARD (Yalova) – a major shipbuilding and repair hub on the Marmara coast of Turkey – Hai An’s technical and operational teams completed the takeover of the vessel’s management and operation from the partner.

Upon completion of all legal formalities, M/V Hammonia Baltica was officially transferred to the ownership of Hai An Green Shipping Lines Co., Ltd. and subsequently renamed M/V GREEN TIME.
Principal particulars of the vessel are as follows:

•    Breadth: 29.80 m
•    Draft: 11.4 m
•    Deadweight: 39,164 DWT
•    Container capacity: 2,798 TEU (including 1,112 TEU under deck and 1,686 TEU on deck)
•    Design speed: 22 knots
•    Main engine: MAN B&W 7L70MC-C, MCR: 21,770 kW
•    Year built: 2011 at NORDIC YARD, Germany; classed by Lloyd’s Register (LR).

This is the second vessel of Hai An Green Shipping Lines and the 20th vessel owned, managed and operated by Hai An. The addition increases Hai An’s total fleet capacity to 33,077 TEU, marking another milestone in its strategy to develop a modern, larger-capacity and environmentally friendly fleet.

Following delivery, M/V GREEN TIME will enter dry dock at SEFINE SHIPYARD for scheduled maintenance. Upon completion, the vessel will continue to be deployed under a time charter to Maersk, operating on the Mediterranean – West Africa trade.
