On the basis of the Investment Certificate issued by Hai Phong Department of Planning and Investment on January 10, 2023, on February 2, 2023 Zim Hai An Joint Venture Company Limited (Lotus Link) was officially established with a charter capital of 2 million USD and total project investment capital of 60 million USD.
Lotus Link is a joint venture between Hai An Transport and Stevedoring Joint Stock Company (HATS) and ZIM Integrated Shipping Services Ltd - one of the 10 largest container shipping lines in the world.
The joint venture cooperation between HATS and ZIM Integrated Shipping has opened up many prospects for international development in the field of container ship operation. Lotus Link operates Vietnamese-flagged vessels serving domestic and international trade routes, gradually expanding its presence in the Asian container shipping market.
At the beginning of March 2023, Lotus Link brought 02 ships with a tonnage of 1,100 Teu to deploy the direct route Vietnam - Malaysia: Hai Phong - Ho Chi Minh City - Port Kelang - Ho Chi Minh City – Hai Phong.
