Forbes Vietnam has officially announced its 2025 list of the Top 50 Listed Companies in Vietnam, with Hai An Transport and Stevedoring Joint Stock Company (stock code: HAH) once again honored in this prestigious ranking. This marks the third time Hai An has been recognized in Forbes’ 13 editions of the list.

The Top 50 list is selected through a rigorous evaluation process that combines both quantitative financial metrics and qualitative assessments. Key selection criteria include: profitability in 2024, minimum revenue and market capitalization of VND 500 billion, and analysis of compound growth rates in revenue and profit, as well as ROE and ROC ratios.
In addition, Forbes Vietnam conducts qualitative research to assess a company’s sustainability, industry position, sources of profit, quality of corporate governance, and sector outlook. All data used for evaluation are sourced from the audited consolidated financial statements of 2024.

In 2024, Hai An achieved outstanding business results with nearly VND 4,000 billion in revenue and VND 800 billion in net profit, representing increases of 53% and 124%, respectively, compared to 2023. This is also the second-highest profit in the company’s history, only behind the record set in 2022.
Particularly notable in 2024, Hai An took delivery of three newly built 1,800 TEU container vessels and invested in one second-hand vessel with a capacity of 3,500 TEU—a vessel with one of the largest capacities among Vietnamese container fleets. These additions brought Hai An’s fleet to 16 container vessels, with a total carrying capacity of 26,500 TEU, reinforcing its position as Vietnam’s leading container shipping company and placing it among the Top 100 container fleets globally (according to Alphaliner).
In Q1/2025, Hai An continued its strong growth trajectory with revenue of VND 1,169 billion and net profit of VND 233 billion, increasing 66% and 293%, respectively, compared to the same period last year.

In the first half of 2025, the company further expanded its fleet by acquiring a 1,700 TEU container vessel named HAIAN ZETA, and signing contracts to build two new 3,000 TEU container vessels with Jiangsu New Yangzi Shipbuilding Co., Ltd. (China). At the same time, Hai An continued to expand its presence in China and the regional market by launching new container shipping routes connecting directly to Cambodia and Lianyungang Port (China).
Being once again honored by Forbes Vietnam is a testament to Hai An’s strong financial capacity, effective growth strategy, and commitment to sustainable development. It is not only a source of pride for the company but also a motivation to continue its innovation journey, further contributing to enhancing the role of Vietnam’s maritime industry in the global logistics supply chain.
The award ceremony for the Top 50 Listed Companies in Vietnam is scheduled to take place on August 21, 2025, in Ho Chi Minh City, as part of the 2025 Business Forum, themed "Growth Pivot".
