: Hai An completes solar power project – A step toward a greener future

After more than two weeks of intensive construction, on June 1, 2025, Hai An Transport and Stevedoring Joint Stock Company officially completed and put into operation the rooftop solar power system at its office building and CFS warehouse area. This marks a significant milestone in the Company’s journey toward realizing its sustainable development goals.

The vessel is currently on time charter by Sealead Shipping, operates on the routes of Mediterranean sea – North Africa – U.S. East Coast. She had completed the first safe calling at New York, one of the most bustling ports in US East Coast at 13:00 LT on May 17th 2025.

Implementing the Resolution of the Board of Directors No. 0204-2025/NQ-HĐQT, dated April 16, 2025 at Jiangsu New Yangzi Shipbuilding Co., Ltd., a China based shipyard, Hai An Transport and Stevedoring Joint Stock Company signed a contract to build one 3,000 TEU container ship, and at the same time, its member company - Hai An Container Transport Co., Ltd. also signed a contract with Jiangsu New Yangzi Shipbuilding Co., Ltd. to build one sister ship.

At 10:18 GMT (17:18 Vietnam time) on February 25, 2025, at the anchorage of Piraeus Port - Greece, representatives of Hai An Transport and Stevedoring Joint Stock Company (HATS) and Hai An Container Transport Company Limited (HACT) signed a contract with partner Thales Navigation S.A of Trust Company Complex - Marshall Islands and successfully took delivery of the 1,700-Teu container ship named HAIAN ZETA. This was an important milestone when Hai An welcomed the 17th member to join the Company's container fleet.
