Hai An organized the 15th Anniversary and Partner Appreciation Ceremony

The ceremony was graced by the presence of Mr. Vu Ngoc Son – the Company’s Senior Advisor; Mr. Vu Thanh Hai – the Company’s Chairman of the Board; Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Tuan – the Company’s General Director and other members of the Company's Board of Directors; along with representatives of regulatory agencies, Partners, and valued domestic and foreign Customers.

Hai An introduced the 15-year development journey to Partners and Customers at the Ceremony. 

From humble beginnings with a small scale of a sole industry, Hai An now has 07 member enterprises operating in the fields of port operation, maritime transport, and logistics services. In July 2024, Hai An took delivery and put the 4th newly built container vessel into operation, completing the project of building 04 new 1,800 TEU container vessels. The project’s success has increased the total number of Hai An’s container vessels to 15 units, with a total capacity of more than 23,000 TEU. Hai An's fleet has become the largest and youngest container fleet in Vietnam, being ranked in the top 100 largest container fleets in the world (according to Alphaliner), leading in domestic shipping volume with a market share of nearly 30%.

Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Tuan - General Director of HATS delivered the opening speech at the 15th Anniversary and Partner Appreciation Ceremony.

In his opening speech at the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Tuan - the company’s General Director - emphasized: “We always remember that the aforementioned achievements could not have been possible without the support, assistance, and sharing of the valued regulatory agencies; both domestic and foreign Partners, Customers, financial organizations throughout the years.”

Mr. Vu Thanh Hai - Chairman of the Board and Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Tuan - General Director of HATS presented special gifts, expressing deep gratitude to the Golden Partners who have made great contributions to the success of Hai An.

In this solemn ceremony, the Company gave special gifts of gratitude to the Golden Partners - domestic and foreign Partners who have made great contributions to the development and success of Hai An over the past 15 years.

Mr. Vu Ngoc Son - Senior Advisor of HATS and Mr. Vu Thanh Hai presented special gifts of gratitude to foreign friends who have been shoulder to shoulder and supported Hai An over the years.

Originating from the great aspiration of the talented captain as well as the founder of Hai An, Mr. Vu Ngoc Son - who held the position of the very first Chairman of the Board of the Company for nearly 14 years, currently the Senior Advisor of the Company shared: “In 1970, after graduating with the Economics of Sea Transport major at the University of Waterway Transport (now known as Vietnam Maritime University), I was assigned to work as a sailor on the Liberation Ship 14, which was a ship with a capacity of only 100 tons, specializing in transporting food and weapons to the provinces of Zone 4 and the Southern battlefield. Even during those hardship war days, I and many of my peers had dreamed of building up a large and powerful fleet on a par with the world and the region. Until now, thanks to the support of state regulatory agencies, banks, and especially domestic and foreign Customers, that dream has initially been implemented: Hai An's container fleet has been ranked in the world’s Top 100 container fleets, and Vietnam's container ports (Cat Lai, Cai Mep) have been ranked in the Top 50 of the world.”

On this solemn occasion, the Company's Senior Advisor expressed his deep gratitude and sincere thanks to the regulatory agencies, domestic and foreign Partners and Customers, especially his friends from abroad, including those who have supported him over the past 30 years in purchasing, building and operating Vietnam's container fleet.
Thanks to the well-oriented investments along with the right vision and strategies in investing to improve the fleet’s capacity and rejuvenation; to build modern infrastructure; to provide all-in, high-quality and reasonable logistics services, Hai An has built a strong brand and reputation with domestic and foreign Partners. Many Partners have accompanied Hai An throughout the development journey so far. In particular, Hai An has enhanced trust in the financial market when successfully issuing 500 billion VND of convertible bonds to large domestic and foreign investors in February 2024, contributing significantly to the successful implementation of the Company's project to build 04 new container vessels.

Mr. Simon Farhat - General Director of First Logistics Development Joint Venture Company made a speech at the Ceremony.

Giving a speech at the ceremony and representing the Company’s Golden Partners, Mr. Simon Farhat - General Director of First Logistics Development Joint Venture Company - said: “It is such an honor to collaborate with Hai An, and even more wonderful to observe Hai An develop strongly as they are doing today. Wishing Hai An will keep developing and reaching further success in the future.”
Mr. Koh Lim Seng - a foreign friend who has accompanied and worked with the Company's Senior Advisor for many years - commented: "I feel extremely happy to witness the important milestone of Hai An's 15th anniversary. We are truly happy and contented to work with Hai An".
Being given trust, support, commitment, and willingness to share and accompany from domestic and foreign Partners throughout Hai An's journey of development, Hai An takes these as the motivation and firm belief to continue to strive, constantly upgrade and improve service quality to achieve higher goals in the future.

Mr. Koh Lim Seng – a foreign friend who has been associated and collaborated with the Senior Advisor and HATS for many years shared his feelings and congratulated Hai An's success over the past 15 years.

On that solid foundation, along with the constant efforts of the staff, the Company representative - Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Tuan shared the important strategies that Hai An has proposed in the coming time, which are: Continue to expand and develop intra-Asian shipping routes, especially in key markets such as China, Southeast Asian countries, and the Middle East region; In the next 3-5 years, Hai An aims to seek and cooperate with international Partners to expand intercontinental shipping routes to the Mediterranean, European, and USWC markets; Besides developing and expanding business activities, Hai An always pays serious attention and takes responsibility for environmental concerns and social security. The company will keep investing in clean energy technology to reduce emissions and strictly comply with environmental standards.

Mr. Pham Quang Khanh - Vice General Director of the Company presented lucky prizes to the winning guests at the Ceremony.

During the Celebration, there were many activities and events being held to express Hai An's sincere gratitude to the regulatory agencies, Partners, Customers and treasured friends who have given special care to Hai An over the years. The 15th Anniversary and Partner Appreciation Ceremony were a great success, leaving domestic and foreign Partners and Customers deep impressions and precious emotions of Hai An.

The Chairman of the Board of the Company presented a special prize in the Lucky Draw to the luckiest guest.

Right after the 15th Anniversary and Partner Appreciation Ceremony, the Company organized the Hai An Friendship Golf Tournament 2024 on the morning of October 26, 2024 to express Hai An's deep gratitude to the Partners and Customers who have always accompanied the Company throughout the past journey.
