HAI AN RECEIVED THE NEW VESSEL HAIAN OPUS, COMPLETED 04 NEW BUILDING PROJECTS

Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Tuan – General Director of Hai An Transport and Stevedoring Joint-Stock Company (left) and Mr. Chang – BOD Vice Chairman of Huanghai Shipbuilding Co.,Ltd signed the Minutes of Delivery of the newly-built ship.

Mr Tran Van Quyen - the director of HACT, the manager and the operator of fleet, shared that: “The new building projects had been carried out at the period that Covid 19 pandemic outbreaking seriously, made much difficulty to both sides in performing the projects. With the highly determination of the BOD, we had organized the supervisor team who took part the newbuilding in China, step by step overcoming the difficulties, assuring the building progress. Simultaneously, all the new building vessels had obtained the good quality, approved by the ABS. All the vessels met the technical requirements, operation characteristics at sea, speed and fuel consumptions according to the design calculation”.

The two parties cooperated effectively in implementing the shipbuilding project.

Mr Tham Hong Luc – The head of new building department, who attended from the design verification period and in charge of site supervising team shared that: “Overcoming the difficulties of covid 19 pandemic, the geographical matter, the language barrier and specially the bad weather while the air temperature reached to minus 11^OC, our new building department had well cooperated with Huanghai shipyard, the inspectors and the class surveyors, supervised each period of new building process, maintained the technical requirements according to the design, ship owner and class”.

Representatives of the two parties together with the ABS Classification Society and technical supervision agencies took a joint photograph at the ship delivery ceremony.

Thereby, after 2 years production, we had completed 4 container vessel building projects type Bangkok mark IV with total invested fund of 3000 billion. Among of these 4 vessels, there 3 vessels belong to HATS (HAIAN ALFA, HAIAN BETA, HAIAN OPUS) and the last one was the cooperation with An Bien shipping lines named Anbien Sky. Wherein, Haian operate 2 vessel and charter out 2 vessels.

All the newly-built ships are of good quality, and fully meet the requirements from the ABS Classification Society (USA).

Taking delivery the vessel Haian Opus that increased the fleet to 15 container vessels with the capacity fr 800 - 1800 teus, total fleet capacity more than 23.000 teus, take 30% domesstic market share. Wherein, company deploys 8 vessels and charter out 7 vessels in the Intra-Asia and mid east.
