Hai An successfully took delivery of a 3,500 TEU container vessel

After completing the handover procedures, the “TORO” vessel was renamed “HAIAN GAMA”, carrying the Panama flag. HAIAN GAMA became the 16th unit in Hai An's fleet, increasing the total capacity of the fleet to 26,500 TEU. This container vessel has a superior capacity compared to other vessels in Hai An's and Vietnam's current fleets, with a capacity of 3,500 TEU.

HAIAN GAMA has IMO number: 9322516, length 222.52m, width 32.26m, draft 12m, maximum speed 20 nautical miles/hour, total volume 35,573 tons and tonnage 44,164 tons. The vessel was built in 2007 by Hanjin Heavy Industries & Construction Co.,Ltd. in Korea.
The investment business in this 3,500 TEU vessel is part of the Company's long-term development strategy, aiming to meet the growing demand for maritime transport, making an increase in transport capacity while improving service quality. Accordingly, in the coming time, Hai An will continue to focus on developing and upgrading the fleet, mainly investing in modern, large-sized vessels to optimize flexibility in operations on domestic and international routes.

After the successful reception, the HAIAN GAMA vessel was chartered by the Danish shipping company Maersk (the world's second-largest container line) for a time charter contract operating the service calling Port Said (Egypt) - Mersin (Turkey) - Port Said (Egypt)... This is also the premise for Hai An's future market expansion.
