Haian Zeta – The First Container Vessel of Haian fleet Calling USA

Under the commander of Captain Dang Thanh Tam and Chief Engineer Tran Anh Duong, together with all Vietnamese crew and officers, the vessel had safely arrived New York port with 830 TUEs of cargo. After discharged 743 TEUs and loaded 287 TEUs she had departed New York for Norfolk – the second-largest city in the state of Virginia – at 03:06 on May 18, 2025.

During berthing at New York, other than keeping safety for the cargo operations, the captain and all crew members had participated in the safety inspection the vessel by U.S. Coast Guard (USCG), the vessel inspection authority of USA. Finally, the vessel was passed the very serious inspection, met all the technical and safety requirements, no any deficiency found and recorded.

This result reflects the continuous efforts and professionalism of the all crew and officers of the vessel Haian Zeta, specially the Captain and Chief Engineer, as well as the effective coordination between the crew members with the company.

With the participation in operation of Sealead Shipping in the routes of Mediterranean–U.S of Haian Zeta, it brings the good chances for the management team as well as the crew members to approach, update new knowledges, study and improve the management skill, safety operation the vessel, meet the stringent requirement of  international marine shipping.

The first time a container vessel of Haian fleet participates in cargo operation in the port of USA- where the most stringent requirements on the safety standard for the vessels is both the general proud of Haian Container fleet and affirming the reputation of Haian fleet to be increasingly enhanced among the international shipping market.
