Shipping revenues cut in half for CMA CGM Financial profits for French carrier CMA CGM continued to decline in the second quarter of the year, with the company reporting group net income of just USD 1.3 bn. The figure was lower than the previous quarter, and represented a USD 6.2 bn (82%) drop on a year earlier.

At 15:08, 23 July, 2023, at Huang Hai Shipyard (China), the 1,800 TEU container ship (HCY - 265), the first of the 3 Bangkok Mk IV ships that HAI AN TRANSPORT AND STEVEDORING JOINT STOCK COMPANY ordered to be built anew, was launched. The launching was safely completed at 16:08. Present at the launching ceremony were the Shipyard's Board of Directors, Leader and team members of the shipbuilding supervising team of the Company and the representative of ABS leaders.
