On December 25th 2022, at Thua Thien Hue province, HATS with Chan May port celebrated the new service HPH-Chan May- HCM. Hai An becomes the first domestic shipping line to operate container cargo at Chan May port, with the 1st laden voyage of M/V Haian View ( designed capacity 1.577 teu). There were 66 laden containers (108 TEU) equivalent to 1.961 tons at Chan May port that were loaded onto ships for transport to HCM.

Evergreen service to link Vietnam-Malaysia-Indonesia Evergreen is set to organize next month a dedicated weekly service between Vietnam, Malaysia and Indonesia, aptly marketed as ‘VMI’. This upcoming service brand name is retaken from Evergreen’s previous ‘VMI’ loop that was originally launched in late 2011, linking Malaysia, Indonesia and Southern Vietnam.

The previous name of the said vessle is A Kibo, IMO 9444962, built since 2008 at Imabari, Japan. DWT 21.916 tons, Max capacity 1.708 Teu, LOA 171.99m, Beam 27.60m, Draught 9.517m, max speed 19 knots.
